For me photography is the way by which I can express my inner feelings. My moods and desires are the source of inspiration of what I want to create. It's my way of self-expression and from that the or a possibility to communicate with my fellow human beings. Through photographing as well as by showing the result of the process, the photos themselves, I can show who I am.

Besides portraying I want to tell about the atmosphere and my story of a specific place or circumstance. I would like to describe my style of photography as autonomously documentary. Sometimes I mount a situation. By mounting I can add something to the story that I want to tell. These are my own fantasies that have a clear relationship with the subject that I am following with my camera at that specific moment. To me humour, recognition, alienation, and summoning questions are the most important ways of expression.
